![]() My research brought to light that this seems to be an ongoing problem with Fords that needs to be addressed and. Had it shut down while I was on the interstate, the results of this could have been a whole lot worse than the expense of a rental and transport. After researching, it seems that my egt13 sensor has gone bad and has to be replaced. Each time it shut itself down, I had to wait a minimum of 1 hour before it would restart. Made it about 1000 feet when it shut down again and left me stranded on the highway. Started it, ran for a few minutes parked so tried to drive it. (Click a not assigned button and once it lights up just press the button you want to map to this action on your Shuttle. $650 and 3 days later, I finally got it home. Now switch to Power Prompter and go to the preferences panel (Power Prompter -> Preferences menu item) and select the Shortcuts tab. At this point I had to arrange transport of my truck back home. When selecting an airport, do not start at a gate, but at a runway. I don't wish to go through the start up procedures every time. Entering the parking lot, I got the message and it shut down again just as fast. How do we set up the sim to have the aircraft engines running all the time. I will get in the car in the morning and go to start it, It cranks fine, acts like it will start, then not start. Looked for any intake air leaks around the intake manifold, none found. Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Cables, Ignition Coil Pack, Alternator-Had Diode pack go bad., Throttle Position Sensor, Idle Air Valve, Both O2 Sensors, Replaced vacuum lines that even looked close to being bad, Cleaned Mass Airflow Sensor. Here Is what I have changed, and or done. I have read Several hundred issues on the Net about this type of problem with some Fords, but Nobody Ever Says How They Fixed The Problem! To date in the last four (4) months I have gone through the Car changing one thing after another that has been suggested that is the problem, to date, nothing has changed. What I thought to be a CNG Compuvalve Problem happens on Both fuels so before anybody wants to say it's a Fuel system related problem, forget that. The Check Engine Light never comes on, and there are never and DTC in memory. My 2000 Contour ( Bi-Fuel CNG/Gasoline ) is having problems Starting and Running on the First Start when the car is cold, Not the Outside Temp, although the problem is worse when it is Cold outside. I need some help before I pull my last Grey Hair out.
